Hello Brothers and Sisters,
I have a quick confession to you-I'm a slacker. For those of you who read my blog, I'm so sorry. Things have been so crazy. I've kept up with my devotional but somehow, getting it from the book to my head to here is blocked. I promise I'll try and do better. For an update on why my life is so crazy, check out the blog about my life www.emilynicolebaxter.blogspot.com
I have three prayer requests that I'd like my fellow believers to pray for:
1)WUMC is having their VBS next week. I want to pray for the teachers, that they may let God into their hearts and have Him lead the children through them. I want to pray for the students, that they may leave their thoughts and attitudes at the door and open their eyes, ears, and hearts to God and learn something. I want to pray for the community, because there are going to be a ton of kids on fire for Jesus. Warrenton, are you ready?!
2)Grandad, as usual, is being stubborn, but this time, in a great way. He battled out of ICU and the hospital this week and is going to start chemo Tuesday. Pray for him, my grandma, the doctors, and for patience and understanding for my family.
3)I never ask for prayers for myself but something is going on with me. I think God is trying to tell me something but I don't know what it is. I've been really sick and I think God is trying to tell me to take it easy and to prepare for something but again, I don't know what. I'm getting frustrated. Pray for my heart and eyes to be open for when He's ready to reveal to me what the next step in my life is.
As always, I'm here to pray for you. Let me know how and when and then lean back in the comfort that God is holding you in His arms.
