About Emily

Hello, friend. I'm a 20-something Christian woman living in Warrenton, Virginia and I am a friend of God. 

Whether it’s rocking and humming Jesus Loves Me in the nursery at church, speaking to a group of youth, speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves through Compassion International, or lifting my hands to worship the Lord, I am in constant awe of how great our God is. My favorite thing to do for Him is to sit and talk about some of the hard issues in everyday life and how awesome our God is in the valleys as well as on the mountaintop with friends. Encouraging people is one of my favorite ways to live out the path God has provided for me. I have a yearning in my soul for ministry and am blessed to have found an avenue that I can do that through.

Following something you can’t see isn’t easy. Being able to trust in someone you know will pray for you along the way will make it better. Brothers and Sisters of Christ need to utilize each other more. We need to encourage each other when we're down, not point our fingers and judge the one who has fallen-that's why I'm here for you! 

I'm so grateful for grace and that Jesus loves me even when my hair is a mess and I have no make up on. I'm also grateful for coffee, quiet time with God, family, friendships, laughter, Chinese food, Compassion Internationalhttp://www.compassion.com/sponsor_a_child/default.htm?referer=134587 , Pinterest, social media, Mary Kay, and the Word of God. 

I have over ten years of experience in helping people seek the Lord and I would love to hear your story and pray with you. Micah 6:8 says the Lord requires us to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly. My prayer is that you live your life by these words.
